I was in Hiroshima city tonight, had gone to the station and was
planning on going back into the city on the streetcar. Wasn’t
possible, seems there was a little accident at the Hiroshima station
streetcar platform. One of the trams had jumped the tracks. Not quite
the scale of the tragedy near Osaka a couple weeks ago, but hopefully
no one was hurt (judging where it was, only the driver & conductor
would have been on board when it happened). Ended up deciding just to
head home since I was tired and didn’t feel like walking or dealing
with the bus.
