Wow, rain!

June is usually the rainy season in Japan. This June was pretty dry, though. We got a little rain here, but the rivers have been starting to look more like Arizona than Japan. OK, a little bit of an exaggeration (they are actually flowing), but I can see lots of rocks that I usually can’t. There’s even been talk of imposing usage limits if it doesn’t start raining soon. Well, looks like maybe that won’t be necessary, its rain most of this afternoon and evening and the forecast calls for rain all day tomorrow. Oddly enough, about the right time for the monsoon season to start in Arizona. Shhh, don’t tell anyone I brought Arizona’s weather to Japan… ^_^;;
