RSSUh, oh, I’m doomed…
Well, went out and got Final Fantasy XI yesterday, so whatever real life I have is probably doomed, or at least til I get tired of it or something. I got the PS2 version, didn’t wanna bother with trying to get my PC up to spec, especially since it doesn’t run currently anyway. Installation was pretty straightforward, added the harddrive that comes with the game and a ethernet adaptor. Also using the Apple USB keyboard I already had. Signup felt a bit more like jumping thru hoops than I thought it would. Most annoying was that I tried to use my usual “cybernezumi” as my handle, but it and several variations had already been taken apparently?!? Grrrr. Finally had to go l337 and used “cyb3rn3zum1″. Bleh.
Anyways, I haven’t played much yet or gotten the hang of much — still experimenting (and barely even that). I’ve made a Mithra (see bottom of page) Red Mage that lives in Windurst on the Odin server. Her name is Kybhirnzum and I’m playing under that handle there. If anyone else is playing, let me know, perhaps we can figure out how to play together.
Oh, and Kybhirnzum says “Hi!”
